Travel diary, 1823-1824.

Travel diary kept during a visit to France and England by Charles Jackson after his resignation form the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court due to ill health. The notes record cases heard on the English bench where Jackson was invited to sit with Lord Stowell as well as accounts of visitis to and with famous buildings and people of the time.
